Eric and Danielle

On Saturday May 2nd, Nancy and I had the pleasure of providing entertainment for Eric and Danielle as it was their wedding day. The day was beautiful, and Pensebenes Casa Grand was beautiful as well. We got to know the family quite well and they made us feel like we were part of the family.

It was a moment to remember when Danielle took a moment to dance with her son! It's memories like this that last forever. It's also memories like this that make it so rewarding for us. Thank you for leeting SCE be a part of your special day!

Children's Miracle Network

Tonight we had the thrill of meeting with the Children's Miracle Network! Again for the 8th year we were the choice for entertainment and MC duties for the upcoming Miracle Ride! I am very excited to part of this great organization, and helping raise much needed funds to benefit our children at the Children's Hospital. From TelAuc, CMN, American Heart Assoc., American Cancer Society, Down Syndrome Assoc., Special Olympics, Skip Clark Entertainment is thrilled to be part of it all and more.

The mission of the American Disc Jockey Association is to encourage success for its members through continuous education, camaraderie, and networking. We believe that through involvement in this professional organization, DJ's achieve more as a group than they can individually. The American Disc Jockey Association is an organization of professional Disc Jockeys.

Goals of the A.D.J.A.
The primary goal of The American Disc Jockey Association is to educate Disc Jockeys so that each member acts ethically and responsibly. We would also like to educate consumers on how to go about choosing a true professional Disc Jockey.

Being a member indicates that SCE is a serious about the DJ profession. Also we are confident that we will provide you with the best possible entertainment for your affair.

It's about you...

As a couple left my office tonight it got me thinking a bit. They came to me because they were not happy with a couple of other DJ Services in the Syracuse area. I inquired about who they talked with and upon hearing who, I was quite surprised. There are a lot of great DJ's in the area, but there are also those that will mislead, those that have no concern for your privacy,(putting your phone numbers on the web for the world to see) those that will flat out lie about their services etc.. My clients said all the DJ talked about was what they could do, how much equipment they have, how many lights, why they are better than all the others.. They were shown other DJ company's brochures. They pressured them to book immediately. Not once did they ask what they envisioned for their day. Not once did they ask what they could do for the bride and/or groom. This is not about us as DJ's, it is about you as a bride and/or groom. This is your day, not ours. Skip Clark Entertainment looks at every event as your day, your way. Just some thoughts...

Honored!

Skip Clark Entertainment has learned today that we will be featured on the FOX network! The premium level of entertainment Skip Clark provides will be seen on network television! Also in the show Skip Clark will explain the value of hiring a DJ, why DJ Service promo video productions may or may not be very misleading and so much more. Skip Clark will travel to New York City once again to record the show soon! We'll keep you posted.

Warners Fire Dept. Banquet

Skip Clark Entertainment was again chosen to provide the music for the Warners FD installation Banguet. The banquet was held at the Lakeside FD Rec Hall. Congratulations to all the officers and county officials! Everyone was having a great time and SCE was hired for an extra hour. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to provide great entertainment!

Birthday In Corning NY!

SCE headed to Corning NY from the American Heart Walk! Happy 95th Birthday to Rosie! Want a fun time. Rosie danced like she was 25 years of age. Many thanks to Jim Diliberto for his generosity by putting SCE up for the night! Remeber SCE is not only for weddings, but all events!

WOW, What a great event and Skip Clark Entertainment was picked to provide sound. Arriving early at 6:30 SCE along with the Great Music Company set up a complete system that completely covered Long Branch Park. Thousands attended and everyone enjoyed this picture perfect day. Thank you to the American Heart Association of CNY for knowing who can come through satisfying their needs. Skip Clark Entertainment is being recognized as one of Central New Yorks Premium Providers of Entertainment Services! What a great event! After that we were off to Corning NY for an event... this afternoon and tonight!

Mornings...

Skip Clark is the new morning show personality on Syracuse's newest of radio stations! MOViN 100.3/96.5. Weekdays starting at 6am! I am very excited about this new opportunity! Together we will bring personality, music and fun to Syracuse mornings!

Mary Beth & Patrick 3/29/08

WOW.. one word describes the elegance and fun of this special occasion. This was a joyous celebration of marriage and family! As Mary Beth's and Patricks Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies, I was fortunate to get to know them and meet their family and friends.

The ceremony was held on location at the Syracuse Doubletree Hotel at 6pm! Shari Drace and her staff was phenominal in turning the room around in such a short time. 225 guests were treated to a beautiful sitdown dinner. Afterwards the party began and went until midnight. This is one for the record books! The dancing, the fun and the memories that were created and will last a lifetime!

Thanks again for letting Skip Clark Entertainment be a part of this wonderful day!

Miracle Ride is coming!

SCE was the entertainment for the surprise Birthday Party for Jeff Pensebene Sunday, March 2! You may know Jeff as the owner of Pensebene's Casa Grand, and also of the Park West in Camillus. Everyone had lots of fun and the cake and food was delicious!

Greystone bridal Show

Today, Sunday the Greystone Castle Bridal Show was held. A perfect day with perfect weather to match. Hundreds of brides were in attendance. They had the opportunity to visit with some of CNY's best vendors. The NYBride and Groom fashon show was well attended Brides were able to see the latest in fashion in gowns and tuxes. Thanks to the staff at Greystone Castle for the invite again this year to MC the entire event. SCE looks forward to next years show!

JoAnn & David 1/2008

Couples like JoAnn & David remind me why I love my job as a Wedding DJ so much. Their wedding reception was incredibly personal, warm and friendly and F-U-N! When I first met them, I knew that night was going to be very special. After meeting their parents, families and friends, I can say I was honored to be included as their entertainer. What a night!

In our meetings, JoAnn, David and I worked together planning a surprise for their guests. Their first dance started with "Bless The Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. But then the two of them broke into an unbelievable swing dance as I mixed in their request for "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" from Bette Midler. The crowd applauded forever!

The highlights didn't end there. After the bouquet and garter toss, David was in for a surprise of his own. His new wife, JoAnn and all her friends broke into a dance routine they've been practicing for weeks (I was in on this one, too). All the guests surrounded the floor and cheered them on. It was an amazing moment.

We gave the room a glow as we up-lighted all the walls in colors to match the bridal party! At the end of the evening guest lines the pathway out and with sparklers wished them well!

It was a great night for all 275 guests!

A trip to Vegas!

SCE and other "Great" CNY mobile DJ's headed to Las Vegas recently to better our services to you as mobile DJ entertainers! There was so much to take in and many new ideas and methods to make your event great! Now we can pass all this info along to you!

This years theme was 70's Disco. We provided a 70's atmosphere that was like no other. SCE looks forward to maintaining the relationship with Syracuse University to provide fun entertainment!
