It's about you...
As a couple left my office tonight it got me thinking a bit. They came to me because they were not happy with a couple of other DJ Services in the Syracuse area. I inquired about who they talked with and upon hearing who, I was quite surprised. There are a lot of great DJ's in the area, but there are also those that will mislead, those that have no concern for your privacy,(putting your phone numbers on the web for the world to see) those that will flat out lie about their services etc.. My clients said all the DJ talked about was what they could do, how much equipment they have, how many lights, why they are better than all the others.. They were shown other DJ company's brochures. They pressured them to book immediately. Not once did they ask what they envisioned for their day. Not once did they ask what they could do for the bride and/or groom. This is not about us as DJ's, it is about you as a bride and/or groom. This is your day, not ours. Skip Clark Entertainment looks at every event as your day, your way. Just some thoughts...

I usually do not respond if a name isn't given. However you will notice in my post that no company names were given for the public to read. I was conveying what was told to me by a recent client. This isn't the first time a client has told me that the DJ didn't care about them, it was all about the DJ. In reality it isn't about us as mobile entertainers, but about the bride and/or groom.
